It’s 11 AM, do you know where your Home Depot credit card is?
I temporarily misplaced our card—my wife wasn’t too happy about it. She had nightmares of stolen identity, bad credit and the horrors of a thief re-finishing his basement on our dime.
A missing credit card naturally begs the question, “Who had the card last?” Our monthly statement was my wife’s star witness, providing a series of itemized returns in cryptic invoice-speak:
CR FLOORING $21.69-
ELECTRICAL AND LIGHTING
CR FLOORING $41.34-
ELECTRICAL AND LIGHTING
Only after tearing apart the entire house did I realize that the card was hidden in my over-stuffed wallet. Whoops.
